How do I become a volunteer or renew my volunteer status?
All new and returning volunteers are required to submit a volunteer application and pass the criminal history/background check each year, beginning in August until the cutoff date, which is the beginning of May. We will not accept volunteer applications in May. The applications and directions are available below.
Returning Volunteers
1. Complete the online NCISD Volunteer Application.
2. Once the form is completed, you will receive an email with a link to book your appointment to have your badge picture taken. Please bring a valid US Government-issued ID. Appointments are available Monday-Friday (21580 Loop 494, New Caney, TX 77357). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us here.
3. Once your criminal history/background check is approved, your new badge will be sent to your home campus within two weeks.
