NCISD Counselors Earn CREST Award

The Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas (CREST) award is an award sponsored by the Texas School Counselor Association.  This recognition is earned by demonstrating the effectiveness of a strong school counseling program that contributes to students' academic, personal, and social success as well as career development.  CREST allows counselors to advocate for their schools, highlight successes, and strengthen their campus counseling program.

Less than 3% of schools were recognized this year for CREST.  New Caney ISD had five campuses apply and receive the award. They will be recognized at the Texas School Counselor Association spring conference.

Congratulations to our counselors!
