April 4, 2017 |Academically Prepared| Porter High School HOSA students Victoria Rivera and Ailani Maniego traveled to Corpus Christi, Texas, for the HOSA state competition.
They were among 2,300 students competing in events relating to healthcare and medicine. The Porter competitors presented extremely well in their events. Ailani Maniego placed 6th in Medical Spelling. Victoria Rivera placed 1st place in Life Support event and will advance to the International competition this June.
Porter HOSA would like to thank everyone who has contributed to their success and for continuing to cheer on Victoria as she prepares for June's competition.
