NCISD police officer among law enforcement group honored at annual EMCID banquet
February 26, 2016 | Responsible Citizens | New Caney ISD K-9 Officer Daniel Soto II was among the many law enforcement officers honored at the annual East Montgomery County Improvement District’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner, Feb. 22.
Officer Soto volunteered to take over the K-9 position this year and is positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic about his job. He also volunteered to take over the Eddie Eagle Gun Safety program and has created a positive relationship with the elementary schools where the program is taught. New Caney ISD Police Chief Troy Wootton has received numerous compliments and accolades about Soto and is proud to have him as a role model for the students and an asset to the community and the New Caney ISD Police Department.
