Trustees Dennis Alters, Wendy Sharp, and Angela Tompkins Take Oath of Office
Three trustees took the oath of office at the November meeting of the New Caney ISD Board of Trustees. Dennis Alters fills Position 5 as the only new member of the Board this year while Wendy Sharp, Position 3, and Angela Tompkins, Position 4 were re-elected to new three-year terms. Creg Mixon will serve as Board President. Elizabeth Harrell will serve as Vice President, Wendy Sharp as Secretary, and Angela Tompkins as Assistant Secretary.

A reception was held prior to the meeting to recognize the service of outgoing member Chad Turner who served on the Board from 2012-2024.
