Teachers in New Caney ISD are being recognized—and awarded—for their exceptional work in the classroom. This year, 254 educators in the district earned designations through the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), collectively earning approximately $2 million in additional pay. The TIA, established by the Texas Legislature, aims to recruit, retain, and reward highly effective teachers in public schools.

"This recognition highlights the dedication and impact our teachers have on student success," said Superintendent Matt Calvert. "We are proud to see their hard work acknowledged and compensated in such a meaningful way."

With designations ranging from Recognized to Exemplary and Master levels, these bonuses not only reward excellence but also help ensure that our students continue to benefit from high-quality instruction. The district remains committed to supporting our educators through professional development, collaboration, and a strong culture of excellence. Congratulations to all the teachers whose talent and commitment made this achievement possible!
