New Caney ISD is proud to announce its selection as a CTE District of Distinction by the Career and Technical Association of Texas (CTAT). 

This prestigious distinction celebrates school districts across the state for their exemplary leadership, innovation, and commitment to student success through high-quality CTE programs. The CTAT CTE Districts of Distinction excel in preparing students for success in the workforce through programs that align with industry standards, foster achievement, and inspire best practices statewide. New Caney ISD was one of the 71 districts honored with the distinction. 

“I am proud of our district,” said CTE Director Brooke Lyles. “This achievement is a result of the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, campus, and district administrators, and the continued support of our Superintendent, Board of Trustees, and community.” 

As a CTE District of Distinction, New Caney ISD is setting a benchmark for excellence in CTE. With 28 programs of study across 13 career clusters, New Caney ISD CTE provides students with relevant, hands-on learning experiences that empower them to earn industry-based certifications and explore pathways that lead to high-demand careers.
