The Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Jeffrey Reece to be the new principal of Woodridge Forest Middle School. Reece will take over the role for the 2025-2026 school year after serving as an assistant principal at Porter High School since 2022.
“I am honored and excited to step into the role of team leader at Woodridge Forest Middle School,” Mr. Reece said.
Mr. Reece has 19 years of educational experience, beginning in 2006 as a teacher and coach in Whitehouse, Texas. After his time in Whitehouse, he transferred to New Caney ISD where he served as a teacher and coach at Porter High School before becoming an assistant principal.
Mr. Reece earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from American International College and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Maine. He also earned a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler.
When asked what he is most excited about in this new role, Mr. Reece said, “I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated staff to make Woodridge Forest the premier campus in NCISD. Together, we will work to build a positive, supportive culture—one where teachers are inspired to teach and students are excited to learn.”
