  • New Caney Middle School Summer Hours

    NCMS Summer Office Hours Mon-Thur 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (281) 577-8860 Due to construction, the NCMS front office staff and all meetings will be located in the NCISD Maintenance Department building located directly behind NCMS starting June 5th – June 15th. All Grade Placement Committee meetings will be held in the NCISD Maintenance Department Conference Room. We will update you when we are able to relocate back to the main office at New Caney Middle School. Thank you for your patience through this process.

  • UIL Competition Results

    We want to congratulate our UIL 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from Saturday's competition. Placing first in their event and grade level are: Jake McIntyre - Prose, Jewls Young - Poetry, Patience Davis - Poetry, Coryn Bailey - Maps, Graphs, and Charts, Geiby Bracamonte - Editorial Writing, and Carter Holton - Science I. Placing 2nd in their event and grade level are: Carter Holton - Ready Writing, Melanie Zermeno - Impromptu Speaking, Fredy Ramirez - Art History, and our Art History Team made up of Fredy Ramirez, Ammy Osorio, and Katia Rosas. Placing Third in their event and grade level are: Jada Kehl - Listening, and Angelica Obregon - Science II. Thank you to all of our participants and the coaches who worked with them and spent their Saturday with them. You represented New Caney Middle School well!!!

  • Academic Pentathlon Results

    We want to congratulate the Academic Pentathlon class who went to their competition Saturday at Waller High School. Their topic for the year was Africa and they came away winning 5 medals. Gabriela Ortiz earned a 2nd place in Literature and Essay. Julie Barr earned a 2nd place in Fine Arts and a 3rd place in Literature and Essay. Reed Anderson earned a 2nd place in Social Science and a 3rd place in Fine Arts. The students worked very hard studying a massive amount of material this year and did a fine job representing our school! Click on the headline for pictures.

  • Robotics Club

    Robotics Club Results: The Robotics Club took part in the Ecobot Challenge Competition in Houston. The students spent months building, problem solving the robots, and collaborating with their teams. The team did not place this time but they had a wonderful experience and learned so many valuable lessons. Principal's Message

  • Welcome to New Caney Middle School!  My name is Eric Holton and I am very excited to join New Caney Middle School this year!  I am originally from Beaumont and have worked in several school districts in the area. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with our community and look forward to making each day great for our students.  Myself, as well as the entire staff of New Caney Middle School are dedicated to create an environment full of opportunity, enrichment, and innovation.  As we move through the school year, I look forward to getting to know each of our students and their families.  Together, we will all make New Caney Middle School a great place to learn and grow!  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email me at eholton@newcaneyisd.org.  Thank you for being such a positive influence in your student's life!
