Returning Student Registration
Registration for current students returning to New Caney ISD for the 2026-2027 school year will open on July 13, 2026. Parents and guardians of returning students must do the following prior to the first day of school, August 5, 2026:
- Complete Returning Student Online Verification (RSOV)
- Provide a proof of residency (POR)
- Complete all required immunizations
Students who do not complete the Returning Student Online Verification and provide a proof of residency will not be able to participate in the following activities:
- Receive a class schedule
- Participate in extracurricular activities
- Attend Walk the School (middle school)
- Attend Meet the Teacher (elementary school)
Students who do not complete the Returning Student Online Verification, provide a proof of residency, and complete all required immunizations before August 5, 2026 at 5pm will be unenrolled and required to re-enroll as a new student to return to school.

Completing Returning Student Registration
Parents and guardians can complete the returning student registration process online through Skyward Family Access. For assistance, families are invited to attend one of the summer support labs to complete the returning student registration with district staff. Families may visit any location regardless of their zoned campus.
