Student safety is a top priority for New Caney ISD. Please do not hesitate to contact your counselor or principal if you have any safety concerns.
What is bullying?
Bullying can consist of several different behaviors including name calling, physical assault, exclusion, cyber bullying and dating violence. All students have the right to feel safe at school and we encourage students and parents to be aware of all types of bullying. The links below provide information about bullying. Please do not hesitate to contact your school if you suspect bullying.
Drug and Alcohol Resources
In recent years drug and alcohol use by students has declined slightly. However, we believe it is still important to continue educating all of our students about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. The following links contain important resources for all of our families.
We are members of a "wired" society. Our students have access to resources and people from the comfort of their homes that were unavailable just a few years ago. It is important that all students are aware of what is appropriate and inappropriate to post on Internet social networking sites (My Space and Face Book) and that their Internet use is closely monitored. We hope that the following links will assist you with this endeavor.
Other Student Safety Concerns
