HOSA

HOSA is open to any student in NCHS that has an interest in health care and the medical field. Students have an opportunity to volunteer, compete in a variety of healthcare events, learn leadership skills, improve communication skills and fellowship with other like-minded students.

    A powerful curricular program of student-led activities designed to develop future leaders for the health care system. HOSA participation provides opportunities for students to develop effective leadership qualities and skills; enhance communication skills; build self-esteem through individual and group achievement; network with health-care professionals and peers who have similar goals and access student scholarship opportunities.

  • The HOSA Emblem

    The circle represents the continuity of health care; the triangle represents the three aspects of human well-being: social, physical and mental; and the hands signify the caring of each HOSA member. The HOSA colors are navy blue representing loyalty to the healthcare profession, medical white indicating the purity of purpose, and maroon demonstrating the compassion of HOSA members.

  • Why should you join HOSA?

    HOSA establishes a foundation of professional healthcare knowledge through competitive events and helps members develop social skills that are required for various health care occupations. HOSA also gives students the opportunity to contribute to their community through service projects. Students also have the opportunity to qualify for a letter jacket and HOSA patch.

    February 10-11- Area competition in Tomball

    March 14- Spring Social- Board Game Night, where members can bring their own games,
    snacks, and drinks.
