The New Caney High School Bass Fishing Club began in the 2014-2015 school year. We had 8 teams fishing tournaments last year. 2020-2021 Tournaments start in January; anglers must be signed up by September to compete. SETX High School Bass Fishing offers scholarship money to high placing teams through the fishing season. Our first meeting will be on September 8th at 7:00 pm in Mr. Bridges' classroom.

Fishing Requirements:

• You must be enrolled in NCISD
• You must have a boat or partner with a boat to compete (2 person team or you can fish alone).
• The boat must be 16 ft or greater in length. 
• The motor must not exceed 250 HP. 
• The boat must meet all TPWD Boater Regulations.  
• You must have a boat captain at least 21yrs old.
