• David Loyacano My name is David Loyacano, and I am very honored to be a part of the New Caney High School family serving as principal of the high school since 2008.  This is my twenty-fifth year in education, and I have been a New Caney High School administrator for the past thirteen years. After graduating from Port Neches- Groves High School, I received my undergraduate degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and earned my master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Houston.  My wife works as an instructional specialist for New Caney ISD and together we have two amazing daughters.  Madilyn is a 2014 NCHS graduate and attends Sam Houston State University, and Kelsey is a senior here at NCHS.  I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling to historical places, and going to watch athletic events.

Over the past decade, many positive changes have taken place at New Caney High School.  With the support of our community, we have new facilities and upgrades to our building, as well as technology in the hands of all students.  Our number one priority is the students who walk through our doors every morning.  I am fortunate to work with a solid group of administrators and teachers who encourage our students to do their best.
