My kids were very active in sports and raising show animals so I stayed busy being a chauffeur to them most of the time. 

I graduated from Splendora High School in 1991 and recieved a  BS in Agriculture Science and teacher certification from Sam Houston in 1995 and a Masters in Education Leadership from Sam Houston in 2009

After my first year of teaching, I took a year off from teaching to spend the first year at home with my daughter.  It was then I decided I wanted to pursue general education because I did not want to travel away from my family like an ag teacher often has to.

I started in elementary education and left that to pursue experience in middle school.  Eventually I came back to elementary and I’m loving it.
