Hello! My name is Bethany Smith. I am on the 5th grade team as the Reading, Writing, and Social Studies teacher. This is my 7th year in education and 2nd year at KME. I spent 4 years teaching the exact same subjects at another school and 1 year as an instructional coach. I love teaching at KME! Teaching 5th grade has always been my dream and I'm so grateful that I get to do it. I enjoy the conversations and curiousity 5th graders display. I've lived in Kingwood for a few years with my two cats, Gracie and Max. I look forward to this magical school year!
