I'm Mrs. Garcia!

I'd like to take the opporunity to welcome you to Sorter's Mill Elementary. I am pleased to have your child in my class this year. Kindergarten is such a fun and exciting year. It is such a wonderful grade to teach! The progress that the children make throughout the year is extraodinary. I know that you will be amazed to see what great readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, artists and thinkers they will all become. 

A little about me, I was born and raised in Montgomery County area. I am happily married and have a 17 month old little boy. This will be my fifth year teaching. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Elementary Education and minored in Science from Sam Houston State. I'm so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher!

I know it can be hard to say goodbye to your child as they begin their journey through school and I want you to know that I take the responsibility of being your child's teacher very seriously. I am committed to their education, academic success, safety and wellbeing. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
