Ms. Brianna Fernandez
Ms. Brianna Fernandez is a Michigan-born transplant to Texas, and has been teaching in the Houston area for the past eight years. She earned her degree, Bachelor of Music in Music Education, from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. She was a member of the MSU State Singers, University Chorale, and Women's Chamber Ensemble, studying with Drs. David Rayl, Jon Reed, and Sandra Snow. She was also an active member of the university chapters of the American Choral Director's Association and the National Association for Music Education, serving on the board of both organizations for multiple years.
Since moving to the Houston area, Ms. Fernandez has been an active member of the choral community in Houston. She is the soprano section leader of the Houston Symphony Chorus, Lake Houston Chamber Singers, and Casulana, The Women's Choir of Houston.
When Ms. Fernandez is not teaching or singing, she loves spending time with good friends, reading, traveling, and playing with her dog, Ollie.
