Welcome to 8th grade ELR. I am very excited to be teaching 8th grade ELA and to be sponsor for Student Council!!

Here are some fun facts about me:

I graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (GO HUSKERS).
I have three children, one in college, one in 8th grade and one in 4th grade at KME.
My family also includes two dogs, Rocco and Chopper.
I love to read and I think that e-readers are the best advancement in technology since the walkman (and yes I had one of those)
I ran track, cross country, and was a varsity swimmer in high school. I also was a Junior Olympian in Synchronized Swimming.
I love tea, but hate coffee and Mt. Dew is my drink of choice when I have a bad day.
