Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Natali Gee, M.Ed., LPC-A

I am so excited to be the counselor at Sorters Mill Elementary in NCISD!  I have 16 of total experience in education; I taught middle school English for 7 years before becoming a school counselor.  Fun fact: my first teaching position was at Keefer Crossing Middle School in New Caney ISD!  Since then, I have been a counselor in elementary, middle, and high schools; I love working with students of all ages and helping them achieve their goals.

I attended Sam Houston State University for both undergraduate and graduate school (Bearkat for life!); I have a B.A. in Journalism-Public Relations and an M.Ed. in Counseling.  I am also a licensed professional counselor associate (LPC-A) working toward the LPC credential.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of our SME tigers this year!

Counselor's Corner

  • Counseling Overview

The Sorters Mill Elementary School counseling program goal is to provide a comprehensive and developmental program to all students.  The school counselor is a professional advocate who works with the staff, parents, and community to address the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.  The program seeks to support each student in maximizing his/her potential in order to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners.

    Counselor Visit

The school counselor sees students during classroom guidance lessons, small groups, and individual sessions.  Students can arrange a meeting with me by asking their teacher, sending me an email with their parent attached to the email, or by filling out a paper request that is located outside of my office. Teachers can use a Google Form for referrals, and parents may refer a student to the school counselor by filling out a Google Form. Additionally, please email me at or call me by phone at (281)577-8780.
