MSgt Christine Brockinton
Hello. I'm Master Sergeant Christine Brockinton, and I'm the ASI (Aerospace Science Instructor) for TX 20141. Along with Maj Wes Sagendorph, we are responsible for over 100+ student cadets enrolled in PHS Air Force JROTC. My goal is to encourage cadets to be better citizens in their community, learn life skills, get more involved in community service, instill a sense of responsibility, develop character, leadership, and self-discipline, provide instruction in air and space fundamentals and promote the Air Force’s core values of integrity first, service before self and excellence in all we do. My other responsibilities include planning, organizing cadet led activities such as parades, leadership laboratory activities, the civilian air rifle marksmanship program, drill team competitions, color and honor guards, military balls and honorary academic groups.
I grew up in the small town of Napoleonville, La and entered the Air Force in May 1989. I retired from active duty in 2013. My first 9 years of my career was in Aircrew Life Support, and the remainder was spent as an Airborne Communications Specialist. The best part of my career was the flying part. I have held various leadership positions throughout my tenure in the Air Force. My assignments have included bases in England, Ohio, California, Texas, Florida, New Mexico and Nebraska. I have been deployed to the Middle East in support of DESERT SHIELD, DESERT CALM, PROVIDE COMFORT, SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, and NEW DAWN.
I am looking forward to mentoring our cadets and please don't hesitate to find me if you have any questions about our program.
