Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Brandi Espitia

My name is Brandi Espitia. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. After working in the business world for almost five years I felt like something was missing. I then decided to go to Lone Star College and receive my alternative certification for teaching. I joined NCISD in August of 2007 and began teaching 3rd grade at Kings Manor Elementary. For 10 years I was fortunate to call Kings Manor home, then in 2017 I was lead to Porter High School. I am very excited to begin my second year teaching here. I am very passionate about the Ready, Set, Teach program and can’t wait to see what this year brings. I will also be teaching Child Development.

I absolutely LOVE my job!!! I have two children, Raven and Adrien. Raven graduated from PHS last year and is now a Freshman at Lone Star in Kingwood, and Adrien is now with me at PHS as a Freshman :)

In 2013 I was Teacher of the Year for KME and Elementary Teacher of the Year for the District. Talk about an honor that I will never forget. I am truly blessed, and I am so thankful to have a job that I can find purpose through my children.
