      Want to make a difference?

      Do you enjoy helping others?

Want to make a friend for Life?

Do you enjoy Parties, Get-Togethers, Food and Fun?

Best Buddies helps create opportunities for students with disabilities to make friends with other students in the school.  All students involved have a lot of good times together.  Best Buddies has fun events and hang out on and off campus.

We are the Best Buddies chapter at Porter High School.  PHS Best Buddies is part of a nonprofit 501(c)(3) (Federal Tax ID# 52-1614576) global organization of volunteers and students dedicated to creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships between students with disabilities and other students in their school.  Best Buddies also offers students a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills.  With the support of school faculty and Best Buddies staff, students lead and direct the chapter at our school.  Best Buddies helps us make a difference in someone else’s life and our own, and we become role models for the rest of our school.
