I am more than excited to start my 13th year in education as a second year teacher at Porter High school. In 2006, I moved here from South Dakota, student taught at Aldine-Nimitz High School, and then continued to teach at Nimitz for ten years. I also teach at Lone Star College as an adjunct instructor. Teaching and being a life long learner is my passion. This year, I look forward to finding new ways to incorporate technology and twenty first century skills into my classroom, activate learning through discovery, demonstrate the relevance of math in every day life, make learning permanent through practice and group activities, and build relationships with every student. Let's have a great year Spartans!
