Mrs. Crystal Mayes
Each day my purpose is to serve the students of Crippen Elementary by ensuring teachers are equipped to educate our learners for the 21st century. High standards and expectations for each student in regard to academic performance is our focus. Elementary school is a time to develop lasting relationships and instill a love of learning to open doors in the future. Parents play a vital role in their child's education. I encourage you to consult with your child's teachers and participate in all school functions.
Robert L. Crippen Elementary offers a variety of academic programs from Dual Language Classrooms, to One-to-One Technology for students in grades 3-5 utilizing their own Chromebooks. Extracurricular activities include National Elementary Honor Society, Choir, Safety Patrol, and Elementary UIL.
Thank you for your support,

Mrs. Jerri Blunt
I am so thankful for and excited about this opportunity to work with the students, teachers, and parents of Robert L. Crippen Elementary. I had the privilege of teaching third grade at Crippen during its opening year in 1996-1997. And now, I have been given the opportunity to return to Crippen as Assistant Principal.
With over 30 years in education, I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach children at various grade levels, as well as serve in leadership roles. I have had the privilege of teaching in both public and private schools, gaining exposure to different teaching philosophies, curricula, and teaching styles. I believe these experiences have provided me with a well-rounded foundation that has made me a better teacher, as well as having prepared me to be an effective school leader, able to support my principal, teachers, and staff members so that they can be successful in challenging students to reach their potential.
Here’s to looking forward to an amazing school year,
Jerri Blunt
