Dress Code

My students should have purchased a Dance Shirt for $10.00. All dancers need to wear black leggings every day to class and also wear jazz shoes. Some students have tan shoes right now and that is acceptable. They will need to have black ones by January to prepare for their Spring Show performance!

Locker

NCMS Dance students are also issued a locker but must provide their own lock. I will need to have their locker combination on file or have a copy of their key.

Class

We will learn many styles of dance this year and my students will grow their dance vocabulary and various dance techniques!

Performances

We will possibly perform at a pep rally this semester!

We will also perform at the Christmas Showcase on the last school day of school before Christmas Break!

We will also perform at the New Caney High School Dance Teams Spring Show. This counts as 2 test grades. The students will purchase a Dance Performance Top that will be no more than $25.00 in December 2018.
