PEIMS

The New Caney ISD Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) Department is responsible for submitting all data to the Texas Education Agency (TEA), including,  but not limited to,  student demographic and academic performance, personnel, financial, and organization information. Our mission is to maintain quality data through customer service, accuracy, training, and documentation. 

Currently, the major categories of data collections are:

• Organizational
• Budget
• Actual Financial
• Staff
• Student Demographic
• Program Participation
• School Leaver
• Student Attendance
• Course Completion 
• Discipline

Data collected through PEIMS is used by several TEA programs to create reports including TEA Standard Reports, Texas Academic Performance Report, Accountability System, Snapshot, and Pocket Edition.
