The Health Services Department of New Caney ISD is committed to providing professional medical care to all students, in order to promote a safe and healthy environment that fosters learning. In doing so, each school campus is staffed with a full-time nurse. School health services include: injury and disease prevention, health education, referral and management of acute and chronic health conditions, care for students with special health care needs, immunization compliance, promotion of routine health care, annual screenings, case management and providing community health resources.
