Maintenance oversees 2,800,000 square feet of buildings. Our scope of work includes electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, general maintenance, and grounds. The Maintenance Department processes over 15,000 work orders each school year. We also utilize a state-of-the-art energy management system to schedule, control, monitor, and troubleshoot HVAC and lighting systems throughout the district.
Our main goal is to provide a safe learning environment for the students.
The Grounds Crew maintains 19 campuses and 8 auxiliary facilities. The total acreage maintained is approximately 570. Scope of work includes mowing, trimming, maintaining flower beds, trimming trees, hedges, bushes and parking lots. They are also responsible for maintaining all the lawn equipment, tractors, weed eaters, blowers and pressure washers.
We utilize MaintenanceDirect from Schooldude for our work order system. This is a cloud-based system that helps us process work orders from initial request to completion and closure. If you wish to put in a work order, please see the principal's secretary on campus in order to have trained personnel send in the work order. All work orders are processed from the campus contact and sent to the maintenance department for approval and assignment. Work orders are managed electronically from kindle fire HD devices and will be updated as the status changes.
