Hello, my name is Destiny Handy and I am a 2nd grade teacher here at Dogwood Elementary. This will be my fifth year teaching and my first year with New Caney ISD.

I graduated with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies (EC-6) from SFA in 2016 and with my Masters in Early Childhood Education from SFA as well, in 2019.

I absolutely love teaching and watching my students grow over the years. I believe that all students are capable of achieving anything that they set out to do. I am here to support my students and families.
