I encourage all students to bring in a water bottle to P.E. with their name on it. Hydration is important! Due to Covid-19, we will be spending lots of time outside to give the students more room to spread out and play games the whole P.E. time. It will be hot outside!

Gatorade and anything with sugar or colored water is not allowed in P.E. and the Gym. These spilled items attract ants and roaches. Colored water stains our padded floors.

Safety is the utmost importance and I expect all students to be respectful to each other and dress to play. Tennis shoes must be worn in the Gym. No boots, flip flops, sandals, or anything else except tennis shoes. This is for the protection of the gym floor the safety of your child. Clothing which restricts the movement of your child is discouraged.

Physical Education class is mandatory in the state of Texas for grades K-5.  Active movement helps cognitive abilities and this provides a healthy body and a healthy mind. Be prepared to sweat and have fun!
