New Caney High School

  • New Caney High School is part of the New Caney Independent School District located approximately thirty miles northeast of Houston in eastern Montgomery County. NCHS serves the communities of Porter and New Caney.

    The 5A New Caney Independent School District enrolls approximately 17,000 students on eighteen campuses. There are eleven elementary campuses, four middle schools, two traditional high schools, and an early college high school.

    A variety of college campuses are located in the area: University of Houston, Rice, and Lone Star College-Kingwood are a few of the colleges.  

    NCHS competes in a full slate of athletic events as well as over thirty-five extracurricular organizations and clubs.

    School Times: 7:15 am to 2:50 pm.
