As a recent graduate, I am thrilled to be part of the Pine Valley team. I have been in the education profession for 14 years. I graduated from the University of Houston Downtown with a Bachelor's degree in Urban Education and from Lamar University with a Master’s in School Counseling. I thrive in being part of the community and making connections with parents so that we can work together to support their students not only academically, but socially and emotionally.

Como recién graduado, estoy encantado de ser parte del equipo de Pine Valley. He estado en la profesión de la educación durante 14 años. Me gradué de la Universidad de Houston Downtown con una licenciatura en Educación Urbana y de la Universidad Lamar con una Maestría en Consejería Escolar. Me gusta ser parte de la comunidad y hacer conexiones con los padres para que podamos trabajar juntos para apoyar a sus estudiantes no solo académicamente, sino también social y emocionalmente.

Ms. Monique Moss- Counselor M-Z

I received my Bachelor's Degree at Houston Baptist University, my first Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University, and my second Master's Degree in Christian Counselor from Houston Baptist University. This is my 15th year in education. I started my career as a Resource Special Education English teacher for 10th and 11th grade. After several years in that position, I decided to become a professional school counselor, and I served as a counselor at New Caney High School for 7 years and 1 year at The Learning Center (TLC).

I have an amazing husband, Mario, and two children, Gracee and Grayson, who both attend schools within our district.

I am very passionate about serving others, especially in the areas of mental health and social-emotional learning. I am excited to work with all students, parents, administrators, teachers, and staff to make this year at Pine Valley a success!
