  • Proposed Elementary School Zone Changes for 2018-19 School Year

Brookwood Forest Elementary School is scheduled to open for the 2018-19 school year. The opening of Brookwood Forest Elementary School will necessitate some adjustments to the current zoning for elementary schools in the district. Changes to school zones include considerations about neighborhood schools, the stability of students, transportation, feeder patterns, current student counts residing within school zones, and projected growth within school zones (click headline to learn more).

Principal's Message

    Principal's message:

I am honored to be serving as the principal of Valley Ranch Elementary. The new developments and expansions in our area are bringing businesses and new residents, like myself, to the area. I am a resident of Valley Ranch, and proud to live in the community that I serve. My goal is to motivate, educate and empower each student that walks through the doors at VRE. It's an exciting time to be a part of such a wonderful campus and school district.

New Caney ISD is offering many opportunities to help your child be successful and meet the challenges of the future. Every student in grades 3-5 will have a Chromebook issued to them to be used at school. Students in grades PK-2 will utilize tablets and grade level Chromebooks. I also invite you to become aware of our dual language program and the various clubs that are open to students at Valley Ranch.

The learning community at Valley Ranch Elementary is dedicated to ensuring that “all Wranglers will lasso learning”. Through the expectation of high standards of personal performance, our school will provide a positive, supportive, and challenging environment with a core curriculum designed to meet the individual needs of all students. Our desire is to develop a love for learning as all students strive to become responsible Texans.

As a child's parent or guardian, I look forward to building a strong partnership with each one of you throughout the upcoming school year.

It's a great day to be a Wrangler!
