Hello, I am Mr. Martinez, and I will be a second grade dual language teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. This will be my fourth year teaching as a dual language teacher, so I am very excited! I was born in Mexico, Monterrey where I lived the first 8 years of my life. I immigrated to the United States of America where I graduated from Sam Houston State Universtiy class of 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. That same year I graduated from Texas Teachers with my teaching certification and bilingual certification. Now I teach in a bilingual classroom where I was once a student.

 Hola, soy el Sr. Martinez, y seré maestro de lenguaje dual en segundo grado para el año escolar 2019-2020. Este será mi cuarto año enseñando como maestro de dos idiomas, ¡Así que estoy muy emocionado! Nací en México, Monterrey, donde viví los primeros 8 años de mi vida. Emigré a los Estados Unidos, donde me gradué de la Universidad Estatal Sam Houston en el 2015 con una licenciatura en Ciencias sobre Justicia Criminal y una especialización en psicología. Ese mismo año me gradué de Texas Teachers con mi certificación docente y certificación bilingüe. Ahora enseño en una clase bilingüe donde una vez fui estudiante.
