The Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Brittany Horton to be the new principal of West Fork High School. Horton will take over the role for the 2026-2027 school year after serving as the dean of instruction at Keefer Crossing Middle School since 2025.
The Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Traci Towslee to be the new principal of Bens Branch Elementary School. Towslee will take over the role for the 2026-2027 school year after serving as an assistant principal at Bens Branch Elementary since 2023.

New Caney ISD is proud to announce that the counseling deparmtnets at BFES, DES, KCMS, KMES, NCE, PVMS, PHS, VRE, WFHS, and WOMS earned the CREST Award, setting the district record for the most campuses recognized in a single year.
