COURSE OUTLINE
Each six weeks the students will have a hand out of objectives outlined with specific information to rehearse and perform throughout the grading period. |
| BAND HALL PRIVILEGES:
There are ample storage areas for instruments and music. When the band hall is not in use it is kept locked so that outside students cannot gain access. We ask that everyone make every effort to keep the band hall clean by using the trash cans available throughout the rehearsal hall. Every student must have their name on their instrument case. Many cases look alike, and students can confuse someone else's instrument for their own. . NO FOOD, DRINK,
OR GUM IT'S OUR BAND HALL, LETS KEEP IT CLEAN!!! |

BAND PHILOSOPHY
The instrumental music program in our middle school is the first phase of a seven-year program of instruction. It is our hope that participation in the band program will foster better understanding and appreciation of music and help students to carry with them the knowledge, skills, and attitudes which help to make them more complete members of society. While it is the individual student's achievement in music that is our primary goal, it is the commitment of all our band members to each other which will allow our program to attain success. |
