Revisions in Student Dress Code for 2009-2010
August 14, 2009
Every spring, the Student Code of Conduct for NCISD is reviewed and updated to reflect any changes in the law that may have occurred or to address student issues that may have arisen over the school year. The handbook is reviewed by campus staff and administrators, and also by the District Level Advisory Committee (DLAC). Recommendations for changes are made and those changes are reflected in the revised Student Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct is then presented to the NCISD Board of Trustees for approval.
Below you will find copies of the approved student dress code for the 2009-2010 school year. The changes for the upcoming year are in red type. Please review those changes with your students so that they will be in compliance with the dress code for the start of the new school year.
As always, the Student Code of Conduct and student dress code are designed to provide all students with an environment that is conducive to learning and free from distraction. If you should have any questions regarding the Code of Conduct or student dress code, please contact your student’s campus administrator.
Thank you for your help in addressing our most important task: The education of your student.
