The Support Service Department consists of four main areas:

*Custodians *Safety
*Warehouse *Property Casualty & Liability Insurance

Custodians:

The custodial staff consists of 101 employees. Services within the department include cleaning and upkeep of all district facilities and other miscellaneous services. The department is responsible for 13 campuses and district offices. This total includes 1,395,746 square feet.

Vacuum and clean carpet
Clean and restock restrooms
Clean, set-up and take down cafeteria tables for breakfast and lunch
Prepare for meetings, programs, athletic events and outside groups; including church groups and other events held in the District.
Sweep and mop floors, dust, clean windows, etc.

Warehouse:

Consists of two full time employees responsible for the following:
Ordering and receiving custodial supplies and equipment
Delivering paper and custodial supplies to each campus/department

Safety:

The safety staff works with the campuses to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff. All schools have at least one person trained as an incident manager.

Property and Casualty Insurance:

We are responsible for reporting all vehicle accidents and damage to our facilities to the insurance company.
