Leadership and Board Policy

Guiding the New Caney Independent School District toward excellence is the seven member Board of Trustees. Trustees represent community expectations as they direct the educational programs and services, establish policy, approve the budget and monitor expenditures, set the tax rate, and call for bond elections.

The Board of Trustees meets once a month, generally on the fourth Tuesday, at the Administration Office Board Room at 6:30 p.m. Public participation is welcome by contacting the Superintendent's office by the Tuesday prior to the Board Meeting to be listed on the agenda or by signing up to address the Board in Open Forum prior to the meeting.
