Fun at the Manners Banquet
The Manners Banquet is an event 5th graders look forward to. You see, it's a special treat: a three course lunch served on glass plates, with glass stemware, linen napkins, and even place cards! The program is a partnership between campus administrators and the Child Nutrition Department to provide etiquette education for students. Crippen Elementary 5th graders wore their best outfits and attended the formal luncheon Friday, February 5 at their cafeteria. Superintendent Kenn Franklin and Crippen Elementary administrators each hosted a table of students and enjoyed the stories shared by each student.
