Texas Governor's School Applications Being Accepted Now
Applications are being accepted for the Texas Governor’s School taking place on the campus of the University of North Texas in Denton June 6 – June 26. The purpose of the 3 week program is to provide a rich and challenging academic experience in science and technology for advanced high school students.
The Texas Governor's School is free, except for transportation to and from Denton, and personal expenses, and open to all qualified resident Texas students who have completed 10th grade. Student applicants will be drawn in the same proportion as their regional ESC districts. The program will also explore the impacts of science and technology on past, present, and future societies including ethics, history, and the arts.
The application deadline is February 26.
