Hundreds Attend Free H1N1 Vaccination Clinic

Hundreds braved freezing temperatures and some icy roads to receive free H1N1 vaccine shots courtesy of the Montgomery County Health Department. The clinic was held Saturday, December 5 at the New Caney 6th Grade Campus. Lines started forming at the Valley Ranch entrance well before the 9 o'clock start time. Nurses contracted through UTMB administered the shots to 678 people over the course of about 3 and a half hours. More than a thousand doses of the vaccine were available.
