State Board of Education Names NCISD Employee to Review Committee
The State Board of Education (SBOE) appointed Nelda Taylor, Crippen Elementary Instructional Technology Specialist, to serve on the Technology Application Grades 3-5 TEKS review committee. She will serve with eight other members. Congratulations!
The SBOE has legislative authority to adopt the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for each subject of the required curriculum. SBOE members nominated educators, parents, business and industry representatives, and employers to serve on the review committees.
