Energy Conservation to Beat the Summer Heat
NCISD to Implement Four Day Week in July
As we move into the height of the summer months and the conservation of both energy and money are on the minds of all, NCISD is going to pilot a summer four-day work week program in an effort to lessen the impact of increasing utility costs. The effort will result in a considerable energy savings to the district. All professionals and support staff will be working ten hour work days beginning July 6th. All district facilities and offices, with the exception of the Police Department, summer school campuses and technology camps, will close on all Fridays in July starting July 10th. The Central Administration office hours during this period will be 7:00 A.M. until 5:30 P.M., Monday through Thursday. Regular office and work hours will resume on Monday, August 3.
If you will be on duty during this time period, please contact your
supervisor for specific work hours.
