This is a comprehensive and safe research tool that will access The American Heritage Children's Dictionary, Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, magazine and newspaper databases with full text articles.

World Book online provides access to full text articles from the World Book Encyclopedia, plus access to atlases, maps, images, video clips, and websites.

Texas Bluebonnet Books
The Texas Bluebonnet Award reading program was established in 1979 to encourage Texas children to read more books, explore a variety of current books, develop powers of discrimination, and identify their favorite books. The program is aimed at students in grades 3-6. Participating students in grades 3-6 must read a minimum of 5 books from the current master list before they are eligible to vote in January. Parents are encouraged to read some of the books aloud with their children.
