Visiting with Young Adult Authors

Gary Paulsen, author of HATCHET and many other stories of young adult adventures and survival, was a key speaker at the Sam Houston State University Young Adult/Children's Book Convention November 4th, 2006. Mrs. Martin was assigned to escort him to his various events and assist with book signing. He told amazing stories throughout the day. Other KCMS teachers also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Paulsen. This was an incredible opportunity; one that will be treasured and shared.
